Lucknow: The Yogi Adityanath government has called for a clean Maha Kumbh this time to present the intangible heritage of Sanatan culture, Maha Kumbh, as a model of cleanliness. Preparations are being finalized on a large scale for this. 1.5 lakh toilets and urinals are to be installed in the entire fair area and parking places. But the biggest challenge is regarding the cleanliness of these toilets, for which strong preparations have been made. Cleanliness survey in toilets will be done through QR based monitoring system and the toilet in which dirt is found through the app will be cleaned in a few minutes. Not only this, jet spray cleaning system will be adopted for cleaning, so that manual cleaning is not required. At the same time, a cesspool operation plan has also been prepared to empty the septic tank.
App based feedback system
This time more than 40 crore devotees and tourists are expected to come to the Maha Kumbh, which will run for 45 days from January 13 to February 26. In such a situation, 1.5 lakh toilets and urinals are being installed in the entire fair area. Along with the installation of toilets, extensive preparations have also been made to keep them clean. Technology is also being used in this. According to Akanksha Rana, Special Executive Officer of Mahakumbh Mela, a special action plan has been prepared for cleanliness. This time cleanliness is being monitored through QR code. This app will provide based feedback, through which cleanliness will be ensured as soon as possible.
Feedback will be given to vendors from the control room
He told that the responsibility of monitoring all these toilets has been entrusted to 1500 Ganga Sevadoots, who will check each toilet in the morning and evening. They will scan the QR code on each toilet through the ICT app and answer the questions given in that app in yes or no. These questions will include questions like whether the toilet is clean or not, whether the toilet door is broken or not, whether there is sufficient amount of water or not. As soon as the answers to these questions are submitted, this feedback will reach the control room. The details of the toilets which are not up to the cleanliness standard will go to the respective vendors and then the toilets will be cleaned by the vendors in a few minutes. Not only Ganga Sevadoot, but also common people will be able to give feedback on the dirt through this online system.
There will be no need for manual cleaning
Akanksha Rana said that this time such a cleaning arrangement has been made that there will be no need to clean the toilets manually. The toilets will be cleaned completely in a few seconds through the jet spray cleaning system. Actually, high pressure of water is maintained in the jet spray cleaning system, which makes it easy to remove any kind of dirt. A similar cleaning system is also used to clean railway toilets. Apart from this, a cesspool operation plan has also been prepared, through which the septic tanks of the toilets installed in the fair area will be emptied. After emptying the septic tank, the waste will be shifted from here to the STP plant or any other place.
