New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) organized a mega rally against the arrest of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal at Ramlila Maidan in Delhi. All the leaders of India Alliance participated in this program. On this occasion, Sunita Kejriwal, wife of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, read the message of the jailed Delhi Chief Minister from the joint platform of the opposition Indian Alliance, just before the Lok Sabha elections.
In this, six guarantees were given to the country by the Bharat Alliance. This included guarantees like 24-hour electricity, free electricity to the poor, mohalla clinics, free and equal education, MSP to farmers, full statehood for Delhi. Kejriwal also apologized for making the announcement without consulting the alliance.
In this mega rally organized by the India Alliance at Ramlila Maidan, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi, Nationalist Congress Party leader Sharad Pawar, SP leader Akhilesh Yadav, Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Uddhav Thackeray, RJD leader Tejashwi. Apart from Yadav, former Chief Ministers of many states were also present on the stage. This rally has been named “Remove Dictatorship, Save Democracy”.
Addressing this mega rally, Arvind Kejriwal’s wife Sunita Kejriwal said, “Today your own Kejriwal has sent a message from jail, before that I want to ask something. Did the Prime Minister do the right thing by putting my husband in jail? Do you believe that Kejriwal is a true and honest man? Should Arvind Kejriwal resign? Sunita Kejriwal said, “Arvind Kejriwal is a lion, they will not be able to keep him in jail for long. “Even now I feel that Arvind Kejriwal has been sent in this life to struggle.”
Six guarantees given to the country
While reading the Chief Minister’s message, Sunita gave him six guarantees. He said, “If you give a chance to the All India Alliance, then together we will build a great nation. India alliance is not only in name but India is also in the heart. I (Arvind Kejriwal) on behalf of India Alliance, give 6 guarantees to 140 crore Indians.
First, we will provide 24-hour electricity in the entire country, second, we will provide free electricity to the poor across the country, third, we will build excellent government schools in every village, every locality, fourth, we will build mohalla clinics in every village, we will make arrangements for free treatment, and fifth. – Will provide the farmers with the price of their crops at MSP as per the Swaminathan Commission; Sixth – Will provide the people of Delhi their rights, will provide the status of a full state to Delhi.” Sunita said that the people of Delhi have not got justice for the last 75 years. Justice will be given by giving full statehood to Delhi.
Reading Arvind Kejriwal’s message, Sunita Kejriwal said, “Before making this announcement, I did not take permission for my India alliance because it was not possible from jail. Hope no one has any objection. We will fulfill this guarantee in 5 years. We have also thought about where the money will come from for this. I will come out soon and meet you.”
