Lucknow: School of Management Sciences Lucknow organized world Environment Day on 5th June , 2024, for this purpose some student activities and a lecture on the Topic of ‘Land Restoration, Stopping Desertification, and Building Drought Resilience was organized. The Lecture was delivered by DG (Tech) Dr. Bharat Raj Singh who pointed out the hazards of environmental degradation. He also suggested some remedies to overcome the grave dangers and threats being posed for sustainability of environment in future.
The Session was graced by Secretary and CEO Mr. Sharad Singh who informed the students about benefits of plantation to overcome the harmful impact of deforestation.
Nearly 100 students attended the lecture enthusiastically raising queries for measures of taking corrective action for environment.
The lecture was joined by Associate Director, Dr. Dharmendra Singh, Dean Engineering Dr. Hemant Kumar Singh, Dr. Amarjeet Singh, Dr. Asha Kulshrshtha, Sunit Kumar Mishra among others. The event was coordinated by Sujata Sinha.
