Varanasi: With the record breaking number of devotees coming to the grand and expanded Shri Kashi Vishwanath Darbar (Kashi Vishwanath Dham), there is a continuous record increase in the income of the temple. In the month of March this year, devotees offered Rs 3 crore, 69 lakh, 35 thousand, 439 in Baba’s Hundi.
According to the temple administration, this figure for the year 2023 was Rs 2 crore 81 lakh ten thousand 730. At the same time, in July 2023, Rs 2 crore 08 lakh 81 thousand 497 were offered in Hundi. This year in March 2024, Rs 7 crore 13 lakh, 88 thousand,213 were donated through bank and online medium. In March 2023, an offering of Rs 3 crore, 90 lakh, 38 thousand 180 was received. In July 2023, a donation of Rs 5 crore 20 lakh 40 thousand 905 was received.

Donations of Rs 31 lakh 39 thousand were received from other sources in the month of March 2024, Rs 59 lakh 66 thousand in March 2023, and Rs 81 lakh 99 thousand in July 2023. The total income of the temple in the month of March 2024 was Rs 11 crore, 14 lakh, 62 lakh.
Similarly, the total income in March 2023 was Rs 7 crore 31 lakh, 15 thousand and in July 2023, the total income was Rs 8 crore, 11 lakh, 21 thousand. According to the temple administration, the month of March 2024 was the all-time highest income month of the Dham.
Previous record broken in Kashi Vishwanath Dham, 95 lakh 63 thousand devotees attended in March
It is noteworthy that a record was made for the arrival of devotees in Srikashi Vishwanath Dham in the month of March. On the last day, March 31, 636975 devotees reached the temple for Daryan Puja. 95,63,432 devotees visited the temple in 31 days of March.
The number of devotees left behind the record of Sawan month of 2023. Since the inauguration of the new and grand structure of Srikashi Vishwanath Dham, the number of devotees is continuously increasing.
