Bareilly : Ravindra Kumar, recently transferred from Gorakhpur, has officially taken charge as the Deputy Director of Tourism for Bareilly and Moradabad regions. Upon assuming his new role, Kumar emphasized his commitment to timely and quality execution of key tourism projects, particularly the Nath Corridor development.
In an exclusive interview with Lucknow Tribune, Kumar outlined his priorities, stating, “My immediate focus is to ensure that the Nath Corridor project is completed within the stipulated timeline, while maintaining the highest standards of quality.”
He also added that efforts would be accelerated to complete ongoing projects under the Tourism Development Corporation, and that administrative and operational bottlenecks would be addressed swiftly.

Kumar shared his vision for the broader Bareilly and Moradabad regions, stating that new locations will be identified and developed as tourist attractions, which would help in creating local employment opportunities and boosting state tourism revenue.
With his transfer, tourism stakeholders in both divisions are optimistic about a renewed push for infrastructure, heritage promotion, and enhanced tourism experiences.
