Programs organized at IVRI on World Environment Day

Bareilly: On the occasion of World Environment Day, a pledge was taken to save the environment through several programs at the Indian Veterinary Research Institute, Izatnagar. For this, various programs were organized at the institute, including poster competition, ideas hackathon, photography competition and tree plantation campaign.

On this occasion, the tree plantation program was done at the Minnet House of the institute by Joint Director (Academic) Dr. S.K. Mendiratta Chief Hostel Warden Dr. Praveen Singh along with hostel wardens, advisors of the Student Welfare Office and students of IVRI. Apart from this, photography competition on the topic ‘Green and Clean IVRI’ and poster making competition on the topic “Waste to Wealth” were organized in the series of programs organized to spread awareness about Mission “LIFE”, in which the students of IVRI participated enthusiastically. The photographs presented by the students were varied from ‘Green Soldiers’, cleanliness of the IVRI campus, great biodiversity of the campus to highly technical entries like daily and seasonal changes which mesmerized the audience.
