Lucknow: Due to the pioneering contribution and interest of MLC Pawan Singh Chauhan, Chairman of SR Group of Institutions, in the sports, the Managing Committee/Executive Council of Taekwondo Federation of India “TFI” proposed Pawan Singh Chauhan MLC as the President of TFI for the year 2024 ~ 2028 in the General Assembly/Election of TFI held at K.D. Singh Babu Stadium.
The House of Representatives unanimously elected the following office bearers of TFI for the year 2024-2028.

Jimmy R. Jagtiani, General Secretary, TFI is considered the founder and father of Taekwondo in India.
MLC Pawan Singh Chauhan assured everyone that he will continue his efforts to organize Taekwondo competitions and promote it. He also pledged to make every possible effort to help new talent reach the state level by providing them financial assistance.
