Without an online application, starting an order is not legal.
– About 30 cases didn’t get an online request for order implementation.
Lucknow: The RERA Act lets people file complaints online. The benches then look at the case and decide what to do. This includes refunds, interest, and even compensation.
After a decision, the person who was complained about must follow the rules. They must do what the order says. If they don’t, the complainant should tell RERA.
But, RERA can’t make the person follow the order. About 30% of the time, people don’t ask RERA to help with the order.
If a promoter doesn’t follow the order, the complainant can ask RERA to help. They can do this by using a special option on the RERA website. This ensures action is taken.
The Chairman of U.P. RERA, Sanjay R. Bhoosreddy, has shared all the rules and procedures. These are on the RERA website. But, many people don’t know about this.
There’s a new rule to help with this problem, from August 8, 2024. If the order isn’t followed, the complainant must ask RERA to help. They can do this through the portal.
