Lucknow: The sword of arrest is hanging over former UP cabinet minister Swami Prasad Maurya. The court has rejected the petition demanding cancellation of the non-bailable warrant issued against him. A non-bailable warrant was issued against him in the case of second marriage without divorce of the sitting MP from Badaun and his daughter Sanghamitra.
Swami Prasad Maurya’s daughter Sanghamitra had married for the second time without divorce. After which there is accuse of assault, abusing and threatening. This appeal was filed in the Lucknow bench of Allahabad High Court. On which the court has asked him to file a petition in the trial court.
Sanghamitra married Deepak Kumar in 2019
According to the information, Deepak Kumar, resident of Golf City, filed a petition in the Lucknow Bench of Allahabad High Court making allegations. In which he told that he lived in a live-in relationship with Sanghamitra in 2016. In the petition, Deepak Kumar told that the father and daughter had told him that Sanghamitra had been divorced after the first dispute. After this, he married Sanghamitra on 3 January 2019 in her own house.
Deadly attack after marriage
After marriage, to prevent the matter of first marriage from being revealed to everyone, a deadly attack was carried out on him. After this Deepak Kumar filed a petition in the court. On which the court had issued a non-bailable warrant against Swami Prasad. Swami Prasad filed a petition in the High Court bench saying that there is no concrete evidence against him in this case, hence the warrant should be cancelled.
