Lucknow: The Malviya Mission Teacher Training Centre, University of Lucknow, Lucknow began its 24 days offline program – Guru Dakshata on 9th September 2024.
The inaugural session of the program began at 11:00 AM with the chief guest Prof Alok Kumar Rai, Honorable
Vice Chancellor, University of Lucknow gracing the occasion along with Prof Arvind Mohan, Dean, Faculty of Arts.
The opening address was delivered by Prof Kamal Kumar, Director MMTTC who welcomed all the participants in the first residential programme. He also thanked the VC for bringing prestige and honour to the University with triple crown and NAAC A++. He highlighted the role of higher education in present globalised world facing dynamic problems.
Prof Rai, honourable VC welcomed all the participant teachers from various institutions and urged them to avail all the resources including e-resources of university, as well as take guidance from professors. He emphasized that higher educational institutions should believe in knowledge creation, co-creating with the fellow faculty and directing the efforts towards development of the nation.
The program was attended by various other faculty of University of Lucknow- Prof Alka Pandey (Asst Director MMTTC), Prof Sangeeta Sahu, Prof Sanjay, Prof Prashant, Dr Kiran Lata Dangwal . The 24 day program focuses on Indian Philosophy, pedagogy, Indian foreign policy etc. to prepare the teachers for the challenges of 21st century.
