Lucknow: The Silver Jubilee Year Celebration of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University is being celebrated from May 7, 2024 to May 8, 2025. On this occasion, the final match of the cricket match of the Intra University Sports Tournament was held between FOAP 11 and IET 11 in the university campus. After winning the toss, the team of FOAP 11 decided to bat first. The team scored 79 runs in the stipulated 10 overs on the strength of Mohit Yadav’s batting. While Ramgopal bowled brilliantly and broke the back of the FOAP team by taking a hat-trick as well as run outs.
The IET 11 team, which came out to chase the target, won thanks to the brilliant 56 runs of batsman Kundan. Captain of the winning team Rajiv Mishra and captain of the runner-up team Tabish Ahmed Siddiqui encouraged all the players. Everyone participated in the sports competition organized under the direction of Honorable Vice Chancellor Prof. JP Pandey. On this occasion, sports coordinator Prof. OP Singh, Dr. RK Singh, Dr. Anuj Kumar Sharma, co-coordinator Ranjeet Singh and others were present.
