Lucknow: On the request of Jaiveer Singh, Minister of Tourism and Culture, Uttar Pradesh, Union Minister of Railways, Information and Broadcasting and Electronics and Information Technology, Ashwini Vaishnav has assured to increase the speed of trains and run as many additional trains as possible for the convenience of passengers during Mahakumbh-25.
Giving this information, the Tourism Minister said that a large number of devotees are expected to come from India and abroad in Mahakumbh 2025. Keeping this in view, he had written a letter to the Railway Minister requesting to run as many trains as possible and increase the frequency of trains.
Taking a positive decision on this letter, the Railway Minister has assured to run as many trains as possible for the convenience of the devotees coming to Prayagraj. Jaiveer Singh said that he had written a letter to the Union Minister on 18 July 2024. The Railway Minister has sent a letter on 30 July 2024 and assured to take positive steps in this direction.
