Dr. Supriya Sharma says Amity taught me crucial life lessons

Lucknow– Internationally renowned management expert and distinguished alumnus of Amity University Uttar Pradesh, Dr. Supriya Sharma, was the Speaker at an event at the Amity University Lucknow campus. On this occasion, she also addressed the students.

Dr. Supriya Sharma, a gold medalist and university topper who completed her B.Tech in Aerospace Engineering from Amity University, is also the author of eight books on various subjects, including management. Currently residing in South Africa, Dr. Sharma has come to Lucknow to participate in a book-related event.

The Deputy Pro Vice-Chancellor of Amity University Lucknow campus, Wing Commander Dr. Anil Kumar Tiwari, welcomed Dr. Supriya Sharma with a memento and a bouquet of flowers, expressing his satisfaction in seeing students achieve international acclaim and enhance the nation’s reputation on the global stage. He noted that seeing alumni succeed gives current students the motivation to achieve greatness in life.

In her address, Dr. Supriya Sharma mentioned that meeting teachers who have guided her life and returning to her alma mater always feels like coming home. She credited Amity as the institution where she learned valuable career lessons. Speaking to management students, she emphasized that while meeting expectations is standard, as any service provider charges for it, a successful provider offers an experience beyond expectations, which is why clients return and remember them.

She also stated that effective time management is crucial for success, a skill honed during school days through regular class attendance, which teaches the importance of being at the right place at the right time.
During the programme Deputy Pro-Vice Chancellor Wing Commander Dr. Anil Tiwari, all the heads of departments, faculty members and students were present.
