Lucknow: Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS) has successfully performed its first haplo-identical bone marrow transplant for a 5-year-old child suffering from the rare genetic neurological disorder X-linked Adrenoleukodystrophy (X-ALD).
