Sumeet Melwani from Pune reveals that he has been in a committed relationship for the past 35 years without getting married. He says neither he nor his partner has felt the need to give their relationship a formal label. Meanwhile, Rochak Saxena from Baroda says he is happy being single and values his freedom and the time he gets for himself. He adds that he does not want to marry simply to fulfil his family’s expectations.
Sharing his own perspective, Kapoor reflects on his journey with wife Sunita Kapoor and says, “I cannot say that I made a mistake or that it was the best decision of my life. But I feel that getting married was the best decision of my life.”
The conversation takes a heartwarming turn when Shubham Bhalande from Gujarat shares what he would do if he won ₹1 crore. He says he would marry his wife all over again in a grand ceremony and take her on a second honeymoon.
His wish strikes a chord with Kapoor, who recalls that Sunita had gone on their honeymoon alone because he was busy shooting after their wedding. Reacting to Shubham’s idea, the actor says, “You have given me an idea that a honeymoon can be planned again.”
From a couple that has stayed together for 35 years without marriage to a husband dreaming of renewing his wedding vows and planning another honeymoon, the contestants’ experiences bring a personal touch to the discussion.
