Lucknow: District Judge Lucknow Malkhan Singh on Friday flagged off a publicity vehicle and a PRV van from the court premises to spread awareness about the National Lok Adalat scheduled to be held on September 12, 2026. The vehicles have been sent by the Uttar Pradesh State Legal Services Authority, Lucknow, to promote the event and inform the public about its objectives and benefits.
The National Lok Adalat is being organised under the directions of the National Legal Services Authority, New Delhi, and the Uttar Pradesh State Legal Services Authority, Lucknow. The event will be held at the Lucknow District Court, Family Courts, Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Authority, Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Permanent Lok Adalat, Labour Court, Commercial Court, Collectorate and all tehsils of the district.

Kunwar Mitresh Singh Kushwaha, Civil Judge (Senior Division) and Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Lucknow, said the publicity campaign was launched at 10 am on September 11 to ensure wider public participation in the National Lok Adalat.
The publicity vehicle and PRV van will travel across all tehsils, blocks and remote areas of Lucknow, spreading information about the purpose of the National Lok Adalat and the benefits available to litigants.

The programme was attended by judicial officers, Kunwar Mitresh Singh Kushwaha, Kiran Yadav, Deputy Commissioner of Police and Nodal Officer, judicial and administrative staff, para-legal volunteers and panel advocates.
District Judge and Chairman of the District Legal Services Authority, Lucknow, Malkhan Singh appealed to citizens, advocates and social workers to make the most of the National Lok Adalat on September 12. He described the event as a valuable opportunity for people to resolve pending disputes and bring an end to prolonged litigation and repeated court visits.
