New Delhi: Ahead of the Miss Universe India 2026 grand finale, Harshita Sahu visited Tare Zameen Foundation, where she spent time with children, spreading smiles and encouraging them to believe in their dreams.
During her visit, Harshita interacted with the children, participated in fun activities, and joined them in various activities. The children welcomed her with handmade cards, performed dance and singing performances, recited shayaris, and even proudly showcased their mathematics skills. The visit reflected Harshita’s belief that true beauty lies in kindness, compassion, and giving back to society.
Speaking about the experience, Harshita Sahu said:
“Every time I visit the children, it feels really special. I’ve been associated with Tare Zameen Foundation for almost three years, even before I began my pageant journey, because I’ve always loved spending time with children. This visit was truly heartwarming. The kids welcomed me with handmade cards, danced, sang songs, recited shayaris, and even impressed me with how confidently they solved maths questions. Seeing their excitement and happiness was the most beautiful part of the day.

These children are full of talent and dreams. Sometimes, all they need is the right support, guidance, and someone who believes in them. That’s why education is a cause I’m deeply passionate about. For me, it’s not just about making education available—it’s about making it meaningful, encouraging curiosity, building confidence, and helping every child believe in their own potential.”
Originally from Ruthiyai in Madhya Pradesh’s Guna district, Harshita’s journey from a small town to the Miss Universe India 2026 stage has inspired many young women to dream big and work hard to achieve their goals.
The team at Tare Zameen Foundation appreciated Harshita’s visit, saying that her interaction with the children brought joy, encouragement, and confidence to them.
As Harshita prepares for the Miss Universe India 2026 finale, she hopes to use her platform not only to compete for the crown but also to continue supporting causes that create a meaningful impact in society.
