Mumbai: The makers of Vvan: Force of the Forest, starring Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia, are leaving no stone unturned to deliver a visually spectacular and immersive cinematic experience. In a move aimed at elevating the film’s impact, the production team has scheduled an additional 10-day shoot to further enhance several key sequences, particularly those leading up to the film’s climactic finale.
According to sources close to the project, the decision was taken after the makers reviewed the film’s latest cut and identified opportunities to make certain moments more powerful and emotionally rewarding for audiences.
“The team felt there was room to make a few scenes grander and more dramatic. When creating a world as distinctive as Vvan, attention to detail becomes crucial,” a source associated with the production revealed.
Directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra and Arunabh Kumar, the fantasy-folklore thriller blends mythology, mystery and forest legends into a unique cinematic narrative. The filmmakers are reportedly pleased with the film’s overall progress and believe the additional shoot will further strengthen the storytelling and visual scale.

Sources indicate that the enhancements are primarily focused on enriching the film’s final act, ensuring a more impactful and memorable theatrical experience. The added sequences are expected to heighten both the emotional and dramatic stakes while complementing the film’s expansive world-building.
With anticipation steadily building around the project, Vvan: Force of the Forest is positioning itself as a large-scale fantasy adventure designed for the big screen. The film is currently slated for a theatrical release on August 28, 2026, and is expected to offer audiences a blend of spectacle, mythology and suspense on an epic scale.
