UP Police Recruitment Exam Under Tight Vigilance; DIG Ashok Kumar Conducts Surprise Inspection

Bahraich: The Uttar Pradesh Police administration has stepped up security and monitoring measures to ensure the smooth, transparent, and malpractice-free conduct of the written examination for Direct Recruitment-2025 to the posts of Constable Civil Police and equivalent positions. As part of these efforts, Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police, Devipatan Range, Gonda, Ashok Kumar, carried out a surprise inspection of several examination centres in Bahraich district on Wednesday.

During the inspection, the DIG reviewed security arrangements, candidate entry procedures, and the overall management of the examination process. He assessed the preparedness of officials and examined measures put in place to maintain the integrity and transparency of the recruitment examination.

Focus on Security and Surveillance

Ashok Kumar closely monitored the candidate verification process, seating arrangements inside examination halls, and surveillance mechanisms, including CCTV monitoring systems. He directed officials to ensure strict compliance with all prescribed guidelines and emphasized that no negligence would be tolerated at any stage of the examination.

The inspection was conducted in the presence of Bahraich Superintendent of Police, Vishwajeet Srivastava, along with other police and administrative officials.

Instructions to Centre Administrators and Staff

The DIG interacted with examination centre administrators and personnel deployed on duty, directing them to remain vigilant and perform their responsibilities with utmost sincerity. He stressed the importance of maintaining the sanctity of the recruitment process and ensuring a fair environment for all candidates.

Officials were instructed to remain alert throughout the examination and promptly report any irregularities or suspicious activities.

Special Vigilance Against Solver Gangs and Cheating Networks

Highlighting the need for strict vigilance, Ashok Kumar directed police personnel deployed at examination centres to keep a close watch on any suspicious or undesirable activities. He specifically instructed teams to remain alert against solver gangs, cheating rackets, and other elements attempting to disrupt the examination process.

He reiterated that there would be zero tolerance toward any malpractice and assured that immediate action would be taken against anyone found involved in activities that could compromise the fairness and security of the examination.

The inspection reflects the Uttar Pradesh Police’s commitment to conducting the recruitment examination in a secure, transparent, and credible manner, ensuring equal opportunity for all aspiring candidates.
