Mumbai: This summer, television viewers are in for a blockbuster entertainment feast as Zee Cinema gears up to launch an extensive premiere marathon featuring more than 40 film premieres beginning this June.
Promising a season packed with action, drama, suspense and larger-than-life storytelling, the channel is set to roll out fresh premieres almost every week, turning the summer into a non-stop celebration for movie lovers.
Leading the line-up is Akhanda 2, scheduled to premiere on June 1 at 8 PM. Starring Nandamuri Balakrishna and directed by Boyapati Srinu, the film expands on themes of faith, righteousness and divine power. The action drama follows a spiritual protector fighting forces that threaten the balance of Dharma, combining intense action with mythological and devotional elements.
Another major addition to the premiere slate is Dil Madharaasi, which will air on June 3 at 8 PM. Directed by acclaimed filmmaker A. R. Murugadoss, known for blockbuster films like Ghajini and Holiday, the film blends action and emotional storytelling. The movie stars Sivakarthikeyan, Rukmini Vasanth and Vidyut Jammwal, with Vidyut portraying a powerful antagonist.

The premiere marathon continues with Kishkindhapuri on June 5 at 8 PM. Featuring Sai Srinivas Bellamkonda in a mystery thriller role, the film revolves around a couple drawn into a terrifying mystery connected to a haunted radio station and its violent past. Directed by Koushik Pegallapati, the film promises suspense and psychological drama.
The channel has also announced several additional premieres in the coming weeks, including Mass Jathara, Odela 2, Bhairavam, Arjun S/O Vyjayanthi, Sheelavathi: The Ghaati Queen and Maaveeran among others.
With an ambitious slate featuring action spectacles, thrillers and emotionally driven dramas, Zee Cinema aims to keep audiences engaged throughout the season with back-to-back premieres and high-voltage entertainment.
