Mumbai: The upcoming fantasy-horror entertainer Vvan created major buzz at this year’s Comic Con in Mumbai, offering fans a deeper glimpse into its mysterious cinematic universe.
More than just a celebration of cosplay and fantasy culture, the event turned into a grand showcase for the film, which blends horror, comedy, and fantasy elements into a unique storytelling experience. Already one of the most talked-about upcoming projects, Vvan has now expanded beyond cinema with the launch of its own comic-book universe.
During the event, actors Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia appeared alongside producer Ekta Kapoor and filmmaker Arunabh Kumar, adding star power to the launch.
The team unveiled The Legend of Vvan, a comic that further explores the film’s dark and mystical universe. The comic is expected to introduce audiences to hidden layers of the story before the film’s theatrical release, offering fans a closer look at a world where fear, humor, and mystery coexist.
Produced under the banners of Balaji Telefilms and TVF Motion Pictures, the film has been directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra and Arunabh Kumar.
Apart from Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia, the film also stars Maniesh Paul, Sunil Grover, Shweta Tiwari, and Anup Soni in important roles.
Scheduled for release on August 28, 2026, Vvan is increasingly being viewed not just as a film, but as the beginning of a larger cinematic franchise and immersive entertainment experience.
