A happy and safe space is a result of trust and intention: Dr. Sammeer Arora on hosting The Vedas Speak

Mumbai: Dr. Sammeer Arora hosts The Vedas Speak, a podcast produced by Ajinkya Jadhav’s Paparazzi Entertainment. He shared that he didn’t build it around a format or a formula but an intention. And he believes that intention is what makes every conversation on the podcast work before a single word is even recorded.

He said, “A happy and safe space is a result of trust and intention, and trust is a direct outcome of intention. My approach to spirituality and my podcast is honest, and my intention is to contribute in some way to the world around me. I truly want to make the world a happier place because that is where my children and my family will exist even when I am gone.”

His recent conversation with Namashi Chakraborty left a mark that went beyond the episode itself. He said, “The simplicity and honesty of Namashi are his most striking features. He comes from an illustrious family. His shoulders carry the legacy of a legend like Mithun Chakraborty, sir. His dedication towards his own skills, craft, and learnings are absolutely exemplary. He does not throw names around and is so polite and humble.”

The admiration deepened when he watched how Namashi holds his own on screen. He said, “He has already proved his mettle as an actor with The Bengal Files and now with Aakhri Sawaal, where he is pitted opposite another legend like Sanjay Dutt, sir, and he holds his own with such aplomb. Namashi is a family-oriented person, and his love for each one of his family members, his respect for seniors, and his fraternity stand out.

The conversation with Namashi did not just make for good content. It changed something in Dr. Sammeer himself. He said, “Conversing with Namashi impacted me hugely. The way he carried himself was exemplary; his love for his family and legacy was evident, and yet his independent approach and individuality were incredible. I was touched by his humility and the respect he gave me. He is a lesson for all of us, and I pray he finds huge success.”

As a host, he is deliberate about not steering too hard. He said, “I don’t impose my thoughts on any guest. Everyone who has achieved position, success, and status has done so because of their own approach to life. Each life and life journey is unique, and to me, conversing with them is an opportunity to learn, grow, and become a better person.”

“I am no one to guide any conversation; it is Lord Krishna who holds my hand and points me towards the direction I am meant to go, and I simply follow that,” he added.

Keeping spiritual conversations relevant for a contemporary audience is something he approaches with equal care. He said, “I always either meet or have a call with the celebrity guest we are featuring to understand and exchange perspectives about life, spirituality, and work. I also keep in mind the current scenarios the world is going through at that point in time to see if we can address that within the purview of our discussions.”

“I feel very responsible as the curator and host of the podcast and ensure that only good learnings, inspiring anecdotes, and motivational content are put across, as that is the intent of the podcast. Fortunately Paparazzi Entertainment Company and Ajinkya Jadhav are also aligned to the same thought process and back this vision wholeheartedly,” he added.

And the vision itself is growing. He said, “We are still very young as a channel. These are baby steps for us. Soon we will be branching out into spiritual education as well. Apart from celebrity guests, very soon we will be featuring many other spiritual forces who will help our audience find success and happiness in their lives.”

“Achievers from the fields of astrology, numerology, spirit communication, and various other occult practices will be featured so that our channel becomes a spiritual hub in the truest of senses. The vision is very, very ambitious, but the core will always be contributing towards creating and making a better world—Hare Krishna,” Dr. Sammeer ended.
