Lucknow: Rajya Sabha MP Dinesh Sharma emphasized the importance of family as the strongest pillar of society while addressing a felicitation ceremony organized at Sector-K Park in Ashiyana, Lucknow.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Sharma said that amid growing social disparities and changing lifestyles, the family remains the most significant and powerful institution. Referring to examples from India and abroad, he observed that values such as compassion, sensitivity, and empathy are gradually declining in modern society. In such circumstances, he said, nurturing a balanced and value-based family environment has become an even greater responsibility.
He stressed that raising children with strong moral values, maintaining harmony within families, and encouraging members to contribute meaningfully to society are among the greatest achievements today. Appreciating the efforts of the Ashiyana Parivar organization, Dr. Sharma said the group has been successfully carrying forward its social and cultural responsibilities under the guidance of R.D. Dwivedi for the past 26 years.
Earlier, organizer R.D. Dwivedi welcomed the guests and briefly highlighted the activities and contributions of Ashiyana Parivar over the years.

During the ceremony, Dr. Sharma honoured several artists, journalists, and cultural personalities associated with the organization by presenting them with angavastram and mementoes.
