Gonda: The Basic Education Department organized a grand “Instructor Felicitation and Enhanced Honorarium Distribution Ceremony” at the District Panchayat Auditorium in Gonda, recognising the contribution of instructors working in the education sector and celebrating the implementation of the revised honorarium.
The programme was attended by Uttar Pradesh Minister Danish Azad Ansari, District Panchayat Chairman Ghanshyam Mishra, Mankapur MLA Ramapati Shastri, Tarabganj MLA Prem Narayan, Gaura MLA Prabhat Verma, District Magistrate Priyanka Niranjan, Additional District Magistrate Alok Kumar, BJP District President Akbal Bahadur Tiwari, Gonda MP representative Ramashankar Mishra and Kaiserganj MP representative Sanjeev Singh, among other dignitaries.
The event began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp and floral tributes to Goddess Saraswati by the chief guests.
During the programme, attendees collectively listened to the address of the Chief Minister, in which he highlighted the valuable contribution of instructors and the significance of the increased honorarium.
One of the major highlights of the event was the distribution of demo cheques reflecting the enhanced honorarium to instructors. The guests praised the dedication, sincerity, and commitment of instructors towards improving the quality of education and said the initiative would boost their morale and encourage them to continue contributing actively to the academic system.

Speakers at the event described the move as an important step towards strengthening the education sector and acknowledged the role of instructors in improving learning outcomes in schools.
The successful आयोजन was coordinated by the Basic Education Department and was widely appreciated as a positive initiative towards educational development and teacher welfare.
Among those present were Sadar SDM Jitendra Gautam, District Development Officer Sushil Kumar Srivastava, District Basic Education Officer Amit Kumar Singh, District Minority Welfare Officer Ramesh Kumar, Block Education Officers, and a large number of instructors from across the district.
