Retired Teachers Honoured at Uttar Pradesh Junior Teachers Association event in Gonda

Gonda: The Jhanjhari unit of the Uttar Pradeshiya Purva Madhyamik Shikshak Sangh organized a grand felicitation ceremony for retired teachers at the Zila Panchayat Auditorium in Gonda. The event was held to honour educators who retired during the 2025–26 academic session for their dedicated service in the field of education.

The programme was attended by the District Basic Education Officer as the Chief Guest, while Block Education Officer (Headquarters) Ram Khelawan Singh and Block Education Officer Jhanjhari Upendra Tripathi were present as distinguished guests.

Retired teachers including National Vice President Veer Vikram Singh, State Treasurer Suresh Kumar Singh, Sudha Singh, Malti Singh, Rekha Singh, Jaydevi Singh, Munni Singh Bisen, Uma Singh, Sharda Pratap Singh, Jagdish Prasad Ojha, Kashfa Bano, Fakhruddin, Neelam Tripathi and Binduwati Mishra were honoured with shawls and mementoes in recognition of their contribution to the education sector.

Addressing the gathering, BEO Jhanjhari Upendra Tripathi encouraged the retired teachers to continue sharing their valuable experiences with society and wished them good health and a fulfilling post-retirement life.

District President Ashok Kumar Pandey informed attendees that the payment process related to the retirees’ dues is in its final stage and would be completed soon.

Several office bearers and teachers attended the event, including State Accountant Rajesh Kumar Shukla, State Joint Minister Sushil Kumar, District General Secretary Ajit Kumar Tiwari, District Treasurer Narendra Kumar Singh, and many others. The programme was organized under the leadership of Jhanjhari Unit President Ajay Kumar Shukla, Minister Sanjay Kumar Singh, Treasurer Tejendra Dwivedi, Ram Pratap Verma, Om Shankar Yadav and Vandana Dwivedi, in the presence of hundreds of teachers.
