Lucknow: A spiritually vibrant Bada Mangal Puja and Bhandara was organised at the Union Bank of India Zonal Office in Lucknow on May 12, 2026, with great devotion and enthusiasm. The event was organised by the staff members of the bank as part of the traditional Bada Mangal celebrations dedicated to Lord Hanuman, a deeply revered cultural and religious observance in Lucknow.
The auspicious programme was graced by Amit Kumar Ghosh, who attended as the Chief Guest. He extended his blessings and conveyed warm wishes to the gathering, appreciating the spirit of faith, harmony and social service reflected through the event.
Senior bank officials, including Rajesh Kumar, Zonal Head Lucknow, Sushil Kumar, Regional Head Lucknow North, and Himanshu Mishra, Regional Head Lucknow South, were also present and actively participated in the religious ceremonies and community feast.


The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from bank employees, customers and devotees from different parts of the city. Special arrangements were made for the Bhandara, where devotees were served prasad and meals with devotion and hospitality. Bank executives personally participated in the distribution of prasad among attendees, reinforcing the spirit of service and togetherness.
The celebration highlighted the cultural significance of Bada Mangal in Lucknow, where community participation, charity and devotion form an integral part of the festival.
