Lucknow: In a major boost for sports healthcare, an MoU has been signed between Sports Network India (SNI) and Max Super Speciality Hospital to provide advanced medical support to athletes across Uttar Pradesh.
The agreement aims to ensure timely treatment and faster recovery from sports injuries, benefiting players associated with SNI centres, schools, and stadiums, along with their families.
Focus on Sports Injury Management
The MoU was signed by Ashish Sharma from Max Hospital and SNI Director Dr. Anand Kishore Pandey. As part of the initiative, athletes will gain access to specialised medical services, including diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation for sports-related injuries.
During a seminar आयोजित (organised) alongside the signing, noted sports injury expert Dr. Prasoon Kant Shamsheri shared insights on scientific injury management and effective rehabilitation techniques to help athletes return to peak performance.
Strengthening Sports Ecosystem
Officials described the partnership as a significant step towards strengthening the state’s sports ecosystem. Max Hospital Unit Head Pramit Mishra and Dr. Pandey highlighted that access to high-quality healthcare is crucial for athlete performance and long-term fitness.
