Lucknow — A strict traffic enforcement drive was carried out at the busy Munshi Pulia Crossing, as city traffic police launched a major crackdown on rule violators.
Under the leadership of the DCP Traffic, Traffic Inspector Ravindra Singh spearheaded an intensive checking campaign at the intersection. The operation focused on curbing dangerous practices such as wrong-side driving and riding without helmets.
During the drive, several motorists found speeding on the wrong side were stopped and fined on the spot. Two-wheeler riders without helmets also faced strict action, with a large number of challans issued.
The visible police presence and swift penalties created panic among violators, with many motorists seen changing routes to avoid the checking point.
Officials reiterated that such drives will continue across the city to enforce discipline on roads and ensure public safety.
