Mumbai: Seth M.R. Jaipuria School, Goel Campus proudly marked National Civil Services Day, observed on 21 April, by hosting a vibrant Inter-House Quiz Competition. Centered around the theme “India: Governance, Administration, and Heritage,” the event sought to enrich students’ understanding of the nation’s administrative machinery and its rich historical legacy.
The occasion was graced by the esteemed Principal, Dr. Rina Pathak, as the Chief Guest. The four houses—Wave Riders, Game Changers, Go-Getters, and Trailblazers—participated with great enthusiasm and competitive spirit. Each team comprised three members representing the junior, middle, and senior categories (Classes VI–VIII, IX–X, and XI–XII).

The quiz was deftly conducted by Quiz Master Mr. Vishesh Kumar Mishra, with commendable support from Class XII students—Abhiraj, Abhinav, Siddharth, Sarthak, and Ayush. An enthusiastic audience of students from Classes VII to IX added to the dynamic atmosphere. The rounds were thoughtfully designed to challenge participants on governance, constitutional bodies, civil services, and key milestones in India’s administrative journey.

In her inspiring address, Dr. Rina Pathak applauded the participants for their intellectual rigor and presence of mind. She highlighted the pivotal role of civil services as the “steel frame” of the nation and encouraged students to cultivate values of integrity, dedication, and leadership.
The event concluded on a high note, leaving behind a spirit of informed curiosity, healthy competition, and a deeper appreciation for the pillars that uphold the nation’s governance.
