Lucknow | The annual function and talent felicitation ceremony at Visheshwar Dayal Inter College was celebrated with enthusiasm on Monday, featuring cultural performances and an inspiring storytelling session for students.
The event, held under the aegis of Lok Sanskriti Shodh Sansthan, also marked the 80th edition of the monthly storytelling series “Dadi-Nani Ki Kahani, Jeetesh Ki Zubani.”
Storytelling Session Inspires Students
Renowned storyteller Jeetesh Srivastava engaged students with a motivational tale, emphasizing the importance of focus and perseverance. Through a story about a spider, he explained that those who abandon tasks midway due to external influences often fail to achieve success.
“Consistency and dedication are key to achieving one’s goals,” he told the students during the session.
Cultural Performances Add Charm
The event began with a graceful dance performance on Saraswati Vandana, followed by a Ganesh Vandana and a welcome song that created a vibrant atmosphere.
Young students captivated the audience with lively performances on songs like “Aha Tamatar Bade Mazedaar” and “Chhota Bachcha Jaan Ke.” A special presentation by Class II students Mansi and Shagun delivered a meaningful message promoting education for both boys and girls.

The event was attended by several distinguished guests, including chief guest Man Singh Yadav. The ceremony was presided over by Nirmal Kumar Srivastava.
