Lucknow: Reinforcing its commitment to proactive and preventive healthcare, Max Super Speciality Hospital inaugurated its ‘Centre for Preventive Health’ on the occasion of World Health Day in Lucknow.
The centre was formally inaugurated by Yogesh Shukla, who highlighted the growing importance of early diagnosis and prevention of lifestyle-related diseases.
Equipped with advanced diagnostic technologies and supported by a multidisciplinary team of specialists, the newly launched facility will offer personalised preventive care, risk assessment, and lifestyle guidance to help individuals better manage their health.
Speaking at the launch, Dr. Nakul Sinha, Chairman – Cardiology, emphasized that preventive healthcare has become a necessity rather than an option. He noted that with the rising prevalence of conditions such as high blood pressure and heart disease, timely screening can significantly reduce long-term complications. He added that many lifestyle diseases are interconnected, making comprehensive health assessments crucial for early warning signs.

Dr. Hridaynath Tripathi, Director and Head – Internal Medicine, underlined the centre’s holistic approach, stating that several serious illnesses develop silently over time. Structured health check-ups and expert consultations, he said, will focus on early detection and guiding patients toward sustainable healthy lifestyles.
Highlighting the importance of preventive care in managing metabolic disorders, Dr. Sushil Gupta, Principal Director and Head – Endocrinology & Diabetes, pointed out the rapid rise in diabetes and endocrine-related diseases in India. He stressed that regular screenings and early identification of risk factors are essential for timely intervention and improved disease management.
The Centre for Preventive Health will provide a range of services, including routine health check-ups, specialised screening packages, and lifestyle counselling. With this initiative, Max Hospital Lucknow aims to further strengthen its position as a leading healthcare provider focused on prevention, early diagnosis, and personalised patient care.
