Cultural Heritage Pilgrimage Concludes with Devotional Fervour in Chitrakoot

Lucknow | A two-day cultural heritage pilgrimage aimed at promoting India’s rich traditions and spiritual legacy concluded on Sunday with a deeply devotional atmosphere in Chitrakoot. The pilgrimage organized by Lok Sanskriti Shodh Sansthan, witnessed enthusiastic participation from devotees and cultural enthusiasts.

Spiritual Journey Across Sacred Sites

During the pilgrimage, participants visited and offered prayers at several revered sites including Ramghat, Hanuman Dhara, Sati Anusuya Ashram, Gupt Godavari, Kamadgiri Parvat, Bharat Milap Temple, and Sphatik Shila. The pilgrimage offered a blend of religious devotion and cultural exploration.

Bhajan Sandhya at Ramghat

The highlight of the event was a soulful bhajan evening held at Ramghat on the banks of the Mandakini River. Following the evening aarti, devotees gathered for a “Bhajanamrit” session that immersed the audience in spiritual music.

The programme  commenced with a Ganesh Vandana by Dr Rashmi Upadhyay, who later captivated the audience with a heartfelt rendition celebrating the spiritual essence of Chitrakoot. Performances by Aruna Upadhyay, Shikha Srivastava, and Archana Gupta further elevated the devotional mood.

Other notable performances included Alka Chaturvedi, Pratima Mishra, and Vivek Srivastava, who enthralled the audience with traditional bhajans. Seema Agrawal encouraged audience participation through kirtan, while Deveshwari Panwar delivered a melodious performance. Musical accompaniment was provided by Arpit Srivastava and Renu Dubey.

According to Dr Sudha Dwivedi, the institute remains committed to fostering cultural awareness and strengthening spiritual connections through such initiatives. She emphasized that these programs play a vital role in preserving and promoting India’s rich cultural heritage.
