Gonda: Following the Sampoorna Samadhan Diwas, Chief Development Officer (CDO) Ankita Jain carried out a surprise inspection across multiple government offices in Tarabganj block, exposing widespread irregularities and poor maintenance. Expressing strong displeasure, she directed concerned officials to take immediate corrective measures.
The inspection covered key offices including the Child Development Project Office, Government Veterinary Hospital, Assistant Development Officer (Panchayat) office, Gonda Gyan Awas, MGNREGA office, National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM), and the Block Development Office.
At the Child Development Project Office, the CDO found damaged infrastructure, including peeling wall plaster, broken flooring, and unhygienic conditions in the store room. Nameplates for staff were also missing. She ordered immediate repairs and installation of proper identification boards.
The Government Veterinary Hospital was found lacking in cleanliness, with damaged storage units. Officials were instructed to restore hygiene standards and repair the infrastructure without delay.
At the Gyan Awas library, attendance of children was satisfactory, with eight registered students present. However, the CDO directed the Block Development Officer to ensure proper drinking water facilities for the children.

Several residential and non-residential buildings within the block परिसर were found in a dilapidated condition, with broken plaster and damaged floors. Jain instructed that repairable buildings be renovated promptly, while unserviceable structures be disposed of as per norms.
In the Block Development Office, absence of room and staff nameplates was noted, prompting immediate directions for installation.
Reiterating her commitment to administrative efficiency, the CDO emphasized that cleanliness, transparency, and discipline must remain top priorities. She instructed all officials to ensure strict and timely compliance with the directives issued during the inspection.
