Gautam Buddh Nagar: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath conducted an extensive on-site inspection of preparations for the inauguration of the Noida International Airport, scheduled to be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on March 28.
The Prime Minister will also inaugurate the airport’s cargo terminal and lay the foundation stone for the Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) project, marking a major milestone in the state’s aviation and infrastructure development.
Detailed Inspection of Key Facilities
During his visit to Jewar, the Chief Minister reviewed all critical locations, including the passenger terminal, cargo terminal, helipad, rally venue, parking zones, and key access routes. He also examined the proposed route of the Prime Minister’s visit and directed officials to ensure seamless execution of the कार्यक्रम.
Officials briefed him on the progress of ongoing works and logistical arrangements. The Chief Minister emphasized that every aspect of the event must meet strict timelines and quality standards.
High-Level Review Meeting
Following the inspection, a review meeting was held at the airport complex, where senior officials and public representatives discussed operational plans, security arrangements, and coordination among departments.
Yogi Adityanath instructed all departments to work in close coordination and complete their assigned responsibilities within the stipulated timeframe. He stressed that with a large turnout expected—including dignitaries, media, and the general public—arrangements must be efficient and well-organized.
Focus on Grand plan and Public Outreach
The Chief Minister directed officials to ensure large-scale branding and publicity to give the inauguration a world-class appeal and maximize public participation. He also ordered that all approach roads be made smooth and congestion-free, with proper cleanliness and uninterrupted power supply.

Key public amenities such as drinking water, sanitation, medical services, fire safety, signage, and transport facilities are to be put in place well ahead of the event. Special arrangements, including mobile toilets, help desks, and medical support, will be deployed at parking areas for visitors arriving from different districts.
Four-Tier Security Arrangement
Given the high-profile nature of the event, a comprehensive four-tier security system is being implemented. The Chief Minister directed adequate deployment of administrative staff, police personnel, and volunteers to ensure smooth crowd management and public convenience.
Authorities also presented detailed plans for traffic regulation, parking management, and alternative routes through a power presentation during the meeting.

The inauguration of the Noida International Airport is being positioned as a landmark event, expected to draw participation from lakhs of people. The project is set to boost regional connectivity, trade, and economic growth in western Uttar Pradesh.
Several dignitaries, including MPs, MLAs, senior bureaucrats, and police officials, were present during the inspection and review meeting.
