Abhishek Saraf Takes Charge as CII Uttar Pradesh Chairman; Pranay S. Garg Appointed Vice Chairman

Lucknow: The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Uttar Pradesh, has announced the appointment of Abhishek Saraf as its new Chairman and Pranay S. Garg as Vice Chairman for the 2026–27 term.

Abhishek Saraf, Managing Director of Awadh Rail Infra Limited, brings over two decades of experience in the rail infrastructure and manufacturing sector. A second-generation entrepreneur, he has played a key role in expanding the company’s footprint in producing critical safety and engineering components for Indian Railways, metro systems, and emerging high-speed rail networks. Under his leadership, the company has strengthened its manufacturing presence across India while contributing to the country’s evolving railway ecosystem through technology partnerships and global collaborations.

Pranay S. Garg, Managing Director of Advance Valves Pvt Ltd, has been instrumental in positioning his company as a leading solutions provider in the energy sector. He has driven strategic partnerships with major global oil and gas companies and EPC firms, while also contributing significantly to the growth of India’s valve manufacturing industry. An alumnus of Indian Institute of Management Bangalore and Shri Ram College of Commerce, Garg brings strong international exposure and a deep understanding of global business environments.

The new leadership assumes charge at a crucial time when Uttar Pradesh is emerging as a key growth engine of the Indian economy. The announcement was made during a session that served as an important platform for dialogue between industry and government stakeholders.

Senior officials from the state government and leading industry representatives participated in discussions focused on policy priorities and key sectors driving economic transformation in Uttar Pradesh. The leadership of CII Uttar Pradesh is expected to play a pivotal role in strengthening industry-government collaboration and accelerating the state’s industrial growth trajectory.
