Women Honoured on International Women’s Day by Lucknow Vyapar Mandal

Lucknow: The Lucknow Vyapar Mandal organized a special programme on the occasion of International Women’s Day to honour women who have made outstanding contributions in various fields of society.

During the event, several women including Rupali Srivastava, Shikha Srivastava, Seema Singh, Pramila Sharma, Rajni Mishra, Anju Sharma, Vandana Sharma, Meena Tripathi, Pratima Ghosh, Meenakshi Gupta, Neetu Dwivedi, Mansi Tiwari, Prem Banerjee, Bindu Tiwari, Sheetal Tiwari, Renu Gupta, Poonam Gupta, Sangeeta Gupta, Ekta Bhardwaj, Sonam Bhardwaj, Ranjan Singh, Geeta Bhardwaj, Ranjana Singh, Preeti Vajpayee, Laxmi Tiwari, Pragya Gupta, Sandhya Sikka, Nidhi Malhotra and Deepika Ahuja were felicitated for their achievements and contributions.

Addressing the gathering, Vyapar Mandal President Amarnath Mishra said that women are the greatest inspiration and the foundation of development in society. He emphasized that the progress of families, society and the business community is deeply linked with the contribution of women.

He further said that today’s women are no longer confined to their homes but are excelling in education, business, administration, politics and social service. Their dedication, hard work and leadership abilities have helped guide society towards progress.

Senior General Secretary Pawan Manocha highlighted that true progress in society can only be achieved when women receive respect, security and equal opportunities to move forward. He noted that women are establishing their identity in every field through their courage, talent and determination.

During the programme, Sushil Tiwari remarked that women represent the strength of society and that no social development is possible without their contribution. Saurabh Sharma also stressed that empowering and respecting women is essential for the overall progress of society.

The event was attended by several prominent members including Anup Dwivedi, Shailesh Vajpayee and Satyendra Srivastava, along with other dignitaries who extended their greetings and appreciation to the women on the occasion.

The programme concluded with participants reiterating the need to promote education, self-reliance and confidence among women to ensure their continued empowerment and active participation in all spheres of life.
