Lucknow: Police from PGI Police Station, Lucknow arrested four individuals for allegedly creating a disturbance and disrupting public peace during Holi celebrations in the area.
According to officials, acting under the leadership of Station House Officer Dhirendra Kumar Singh, the police conducted action at several locations within the police station limits after receiving complaints about hooliganism and unruly behaviour during the festival. The accused were arrested under Sections 170/126/135 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita and later produced before the court.
The arrested individuals have been identified as Virag Mishra (19) and Chirag Mishra (18), both residents of Moharibagh in Telibagh; Ajay Kumar (23), a resident of Sabhakheda; and Kuldeep Pal (22) from Senani Vihar Colony, Ekta Nagar, all under the jurisdiction of PGI Police Station, Lucknow.

Police officials stated that the arrests were made as part of a drive to maintain law and order during Holi festivities in Lucknow. Authorities reiterated that strict action would be taken against anyone found disturbing public peace or engaging in unlawful activities during festivals.
The police team involved in the operation included Sub-Inspectors Dinkar Verma and Yogesh Kumar Yadav, along with several constables who assisted in the arrests. Further legal proceedings in the matter are underway.
