Lucknow: The festival of colours brought a vibrant wave of joy and enthusiasm to the Kaisarbagh area of the state capital, where residents celebrated Holi with traditional zeal and unity.
As evening set in, the locality came alive with clouds of gulal filling the air and people dancing to the beats of drums and DJ music. Areas including Aminabad, Nazeerabad, Kaisarbagh Chauraha and the Kaisarbagh Sabzi Mandi witnessed spirited celebrations as the festivities began in customary style.
Children, youth and elderly residents were seen applying colours to one another and exchanging greetings with cheerful chants of “Holi Hai.” The entire neighbourhood was immersed in a lively blend of colours and music, reflecting the festival’s spirit of harmony and togetherness.
Amid the celebrations, security and traffic arrangements remained robust. The Kaiserbagh Police maintained a strong presence throughout the area to ensure smooth conduct of the festival.

Ratnesh Singh, ACP Kaisarbagh, and Anjani Mishra, Inspector Kaisarbagh, conducted continuous patrols along with heavy police deployment. Police personnel were visibly stationed at key intersections, including Kaisarbagh Chauraha, keeping a close watch on traffic movement to prevent congestion or inconvenience to the public.
With colours, cheer and vigilant security working hand in hand, Holi in Kaisarbagh was celebrated peacefully and with great enthusiasm, showcasing the city’s vibrant cultural spirit.
