Lucknow: Cultural organization Manjushree has successfully staged a poetic theatre production, as announced during a press conference at its Gomti Nagar office. Programme Convenor Vivek Shukla stated that over the past 40 years, the institution has established a distinct identity through cultural and literary performances at both state and national levels.
The organization has prepared nearly 40 plays on various social issues and has already staged more than 100 performances across different platforms. Continuing this legacy, the latest poetic theatrical presentation was held at Sant Gadge Ji Maharaj Auditorium.
The production, inspired by Guru Gobind Singh’s famous line “Purja Purja Kat Mare,” drew upon the works of noted literary figures Jaishankar Prasad and Gopal Das Neeraj. The play highlighted themes of patriotism, sacrifice, and dedication to the nation, along with the struggles and determination of a woman striving to achieve her goals.

Eminent personalities from various fields were also felicitated during the programme.
