Mumbai | Fans of Bollywood star Ajay Devgn’s blockbuster suspense-thriller series Drishyam have reason to celebrate. The makers have officially announced Drishyam 3, along with its release date, generating massive excitement among audiences.
A 1-minute-13-second teaser released by the makers features Ajay Devgn’s voiceover, highlighting the importance of family. The teaser revisits the story so far, showing Vijay Salgaonkar (played by Devgn) affirming, “Mera sach, mera sahi, sirf meri family hai” (“My truth, my righteousness, is only my family”). The clip emphasizes that Vijay continues to stand as a protective wall for his family. The teaser ends with him saying, “Jab tak sab thak nahi jaate, jab tak sab haar nahi jaate, main yahi khada hoon, chowkidar ban kar. Ek deewar ban kar… Kahani abhi khatam nahi hui hai. Aakhri hissa abhi baaki hai” (“Until everyone gives up, until everyone is exhausted, I stand here as the watchman. As a wall… the story is not over yet. The final part is still left”), leaving fans thrilled.
The film is scheduled for release on October 2, 2026, coinciding with Gandhi Jayanti. The movie will be directed by Abhishek Pathak and is expected to continue the storyline from where Drishyam 2 concluded. Speculation is rife over possible changes in the cast, particularly whether Akshaye Khanna will return.

Drishyam is the Hindi remake of the original Malayalam hit of the same name. The Hindi version debuted in 2015 and was a box-office success. Its sequel, Drishyam 2, released in 2022, also performed well commercially, with Akshaye Khanna appearing in a pivotal role. With shooting for Drishyam 3 already underway, the final installment promises to deliver the intense drama and suspense that the franchise is known for.
