Lucknow – The Alumni Association of Army Public School Nehru Road (AAN) hosted a landmark Alumni Reunion Event, drawing former students from across India and abroad for a celebration of shared memories, institutional pride, and enduring bonds.
The event was conducted in two segments, beginning with a visit to APS Nehru Road, followed by a reunion dinner, offering alumni the chance to reconnect with their alma mater and each other.
During the school visit, alumni revisited classrooms, corridors, and the auditorium, participating in a formal programme that highlighted the institution’s legacy and values. The occasion was graced by Brigadier Shrirang S. Mooley, Chairman of APS Nehru Road, as the Chief Guest. The event also saw the presence of the Principal, veteran teachers, current faculty members, members of the school management, and office bearers of the Alumni Association.

A special highlight of the day was the Silver Jubilee celebration of the Batch of 2000, with alumni travelling from across India and overseas to mark 25 years since their graduation. Veteran teachers were felicitated, and memories of school life, along with the institution’s ethos of discipline, integrity, and service, were fondly recalled.

Speaking on the occasion, representatives of the Alumni Association emphasised APS Nehru Road’s role in shaping generations and reiterated the alumni’s commitment to contributing meaningfully to the institution’s growth.
Formed less than a year ago, the Alumni Association of APS Nehru Road has grown rapidly, now boasting over 700 registered members, making it the largest alumni network among Army Public Schools in the country. The association is led by J. B. Singh, President, with Uday Pratap Singh and Sandeep Ahuja as Vice Presidents, Brigadier Vikram Heeru (Retd.) as Patron, and Anil Kumar Singh as Secretary, who coordinated the event.
The programme concluded with a reunion dinner, providing a platform for informal interaction, rekindling old friendships, and reaffirming alumni resolve to support APS Nehru Road through mentorship, scholarships, and other initiatives.
The event marked a significant milestone in strengthening alumni–institution ties and set the tone for future engagements under the banner of the Alumni Association of APS Nehru Road (AAN).
