Lucknow: The Indian Medical Association (IMA) Lucknow chapter formally inducted its new executive committee during an oath-taking ceremony held on Saturday. The event marked a significant moment for the medical community in the state capital, bringing together senior healthcare leaders, elected representatives, and newly appointed office-bearers.
The ceremony was graced by Dr. Neeraj Bora, former IMA Lucknow President and MLA, North Assembly, who attended as the Chief Guest. Distinguished guests included Dr. Narendra Agarwal, former Chief Medical Officer of Lucknow, and Dr. N. B. Singh, Chief Medical Officer, Lucknow. The dignitaries collectively administered the oath to the newly elected members of the IMA leadership team.

The gathering began with a cordial welcome by Dr. Sarita Singh, who expressed her appreciation to the esteemed guests for gracing the occasion.

In her address, newly elected President Dr. Sanjay Saxena articulated his vision of elevating IMA Lucknow to greater heights and strengthening its role in advocating for medical professionals and healthcare services.
Dr. Shweta Srivastava, Secretary of IMA Lucknow, assured that all organizational programs and activities would be conducted regularly and efficiently. Former IMA President Dr. Rama Srivastava also marked her presence, adding significance to the event.
