Mumbai: The much-loved comic pairing of Pulkit Samrat and Varun Sharma — popular for their chemistry in Fukrey — is back, and this time they return with a cosmic twist of fate. The teaser of their upcoming comedy film Rahu-Ketu was released on Thursday, giving audiences a riotous glimpse into the madness that awaits.
Cosmic Trouble Follows the Duo in the Teaser
In the teaser, wherever Pulkit and Varun’s characters go, misfortune follows — leading everyone to label them as unlucky. But the twist soon unfolds: the duo is not actually ‘manhoos’ (ill-omened). Instead, they appear at the right time to deliver poetic justice for people’s wrongdoings. The film hints that both characters are under the influence of Rahu and Ketu, celestial forces that push them into causing unintended chaos.

The teaser, packed with slapstick humour and quirky situations, has already struck a chord with fans.
Amit Sial Shares the Teaser with a Cosmic Warning
Actor Amit Sial, who also stars in the film, shared the teaser on social media with the caption:
“Get ready in the new year, because your dasha and disha will change when Rahu-Ketu enter your life. Dive straight into cosmic chaos with your gang! The film releases on January 16, 2026.”
Star-Studded Cast and Vision
Directed by Vipul Vig, Rahu-Ketu is produced under the banners of Zee Studios and BLive Productions. The film features Shalini Pandey as the lead actress, with Chunky Pandey, Amit Sial, and Manu Rishi Chadha playing key supporting roles.

The first poster of the film — featuring red chillies and blue lemons — had earlier generated curiosity, announcing the film’s release date along with symbolic hints of its quirky theme.
More Than Comedy, Says Producer
Speaking to the media, BLive Productions’ producer Suraj Singh said that Rahu-Ketu goes beyond slapstick entertainment.
“This film doesn’t limit itself to comedy. It also touches upon our cultural beliefs and traditions. While audiences will laugh throughout, the film also carries an impactful message,” he added.
With its astrologically charged storyline, trademark Pulkit-Varun humour, and a promise of cosmic chaos, Rahu-Ketu is all set to kick-start 2026 on a high note for comedy lovers.
