UPSNA and Bharati Vidyapeeth, Pune Sign MoU to Strengthen Academic and Cultural Exchange

Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh Sangeet Natak Akademi (UPSNA) and Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed-to-be University), Pune, formally entered into an academic and cultural Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the Akademi campus in Gomti Nagar.

The delegation from Bharati Vidyapeeth included Prof. Sharangdhar Sathe, Director of the School of Performing Arts, along with Prof. Praveen Kaslikar. Representing UPSNA were its Chairman Prof. Jayant Khot, Director Dr. Shobhit Kumar Nahar, and Personal Assistant Saurabh Saxena.

Following the MoU signing, the official agreement papers were exchanged between Prof. Sharangdhar Sathe and Dr. Shobhit Kumar Nahar, marking the beginning of a collaborative partnership.

Prof. Jayant Khot stated that the MoU will facilitate meaningful cultural exchange between the two institutions while helping take the rich cultural heritage of Uttar Pradesh to international platforms through the university’s global outreach. Bharati Vidyapeeth, like the Akademi, has been contributing significantly to the fields of music and theatre on a large scale.

The event, anchored by RJ Samreen, was attended by officials and staff from the Akademi, Kathak Kendra, and Radio Jayghosh.
