Mumbai: Global superstar Priyanka Chopra Jonas has set social media abuzz with the first look from S.S. Rajamouli’s much-anticipated international project, Globetrotter. The actress, who plays a character named Mandakini, appears in a never-seen-before fierce avatar — draped in a simple yellow saree, holding a gun, and exuding intensity and power.
Sharing the poster on her social media platforms, Priyanka wrote, “She’s more than what meets the eye… say hello to Mandakini. #GlobeTroter @ssrajamouli @urstrulyMahesh @mmkeeravaani @sridurgaartsofficial @sbbyssk @therealprithvi.”
The striking visual quickly caught the attention of fans across the globe, with many calling it a perfect blend of traditional grace and raw strength — a refreshing return of the “Desi Girl” in an action-packed avatar.
Director S.S. Rajamouli, known for creating cinematic epics like Baahubali and RRR, also shared the first look on his official handles. Welcoming Priyanka to the project, he wrote, “The woman who redefined Indian cinema on the global stage. Welcome back, Desi Girl! Can’t wait for the world to witness your myriad shades of Mandakini.”

The film, currently titled Globetrotter, is shaping up to be a high-octane action adventure spanning continents. Earlier this month, Rajamouli had revealed the first look of Prithviraj Sukumaran, who reportedly plays the primary antagonist, Kumbha. His poster showed him in a sleek black suit, seated in a wheelchair with four robotic arms — a visually intriguing detail that has left fans speculating about the film’s futuristic setting.
Backed by S.S. Rajamouli in collaboration with Mahesh Babu, the project also features music by M.M. Keeravaani, marking yet another powerhouse creative team-up.
With Priyanka Chopra’s bold transformation as Mandakini and Rajamouli’s storytelling prowess, Globetrotter promises to be one of the most awaited global cinematic experiences of 2026.
