MD Sushil Kumar presented the “Employee of the Month” award for September 2025
Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Ltd. (UPMRC) always encourages and appreciates the dedication and excellent performance of its employees. In this spirit, employees were honoured with the “Employee of the Month” award for their exceptional contribution and commitment during September 2025.
Kuldeep Kumar, Section Engineer (Signaling and Telecom), ensured smooth metro operations across 21 stations on the main corridor from CCS Airport to Munshipuliya with his technical skills, promptness and dedication. He is an expert in telecom systems and efficiently handles fault management and preventive maintenance of key systems like CCTV, Access Control and UPS. His honesty, reliability and technical excellence earned him the “Employee of the Month” award for September.
Sandipani Srivastava, Lady Security Guard, found a lady’s purse in the X-BIS area of CCS Airport Metro Station. The purse contained Rs. 6100 in cash, AirPods and foreign currency. Showing honesty and responsibility, she immediately handed it over to the Station Controller. Later, through UPMRC’s Lost and Found Cell, the purse was safely returned to the passenger, Ms. Ananya Sharma. For her integrity and sense of duty, Ms. Sandipani Srivastava was awarded for her honesty and commitment.
Sunil Tiwari, Team Leader at Alambagh Metro Station, is known for his sincerity, punctuality and dedication towards work. He was also honoured with the “Employee of the Month” award for September.
UPMRC’s Managing Director, Sushil Kumar, said, “I am proud of my team that is always committed to serving the public in the best possible way. The honesty and sense of responsibility shown by the Lost and Found Cell of Lucknow Metro has strengthened public trust. Lucknow Metro is safer, more comfortable and more convenient than any other public transport.”
