Ayodhya: In a historic and emotionally charged evening at Ramkatha Park, Deepotsav 2025 became a spiritual spectacle where devotion, culture and national pride converged. Saints from across the country hailed Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, declaring that he had accomplished in Ayodhya what was believed to be impossible for ages.
The grand symbolic coronation of Lord Shri Ram filled the venue with chants of “Jai Shri Ram” as saints and devotees witnessed a revival of the ideals of Ram Rajya. In a rare expression of unity, saints from multiple traditions praised the Chief Minister for restoring Ayodhya’s glory on the world stage.
“Yogi Raised the Pride of Hindus Worldwide”
Former MP Dr. Ramvilas Vedanti Maharaj said, “No one could have imagined such a Deepotsav in Ayodhya. Many chief ministers came and went, but none even dreamt of such a devotional celebration. While others held festivals in their hometowns, Yogi began Deepotsav in Ayodhya. Every year the number of lamps increases. Yogi has made Hindus across the world hold their heads high with pride.”
He added that Yogi fulfilled the long-pending resolve of Mahant Avedyanath and Ashok Singhal.
“Yogi Revived the Legacy of Vikramaditya”
Jagadguru Ramanujacharya Dr. Raghavacharya Ji Maharaj said previous governments pushed Ayodhya into darkness. “People were afraid to even speak Ayodhya’s name. Today the same Ayodhya has become the capital of light. Yogi is the living embodiment of simplicity and principles. While earlier chief ministers avoided Ayodhya, Yogi visits regularly and serves the saints. He has revived the tradition once set by Emperor Vikramaditya.”
“We Live in Kaliyuga, But Feel Treta Yuga”
Jagadguru Shri Ram Dineshacharya Maharaj said that the long-cherished imagination of Sarayu lighting lamps and waiting for Lord Ram has now come to life. “Under Yogi’s leadership, that imagination has become reality. Physically we are in Kaliyuga, but spiritually we are living in Treta Yuga.”
“Every Lane of Ayodhya Now Echoes with Ram’s Name”
Jagadguru Ramanujacharya Sridharacharya Ji Maharaj said, “This is our great fortune—that in Kaliyuga we are remembering Treta. PM Narendra Modi started a new era for Ayodhya, and Yogi has elevated it to the peak of devotion. Once Ayodhya felt lifeless; today every street resonates with Ram’s name. Those who once hesitated to visit are now proudly wearing tilak and janeyu.”
“Ram Temple Built in the Era of Adityanath—the Sun of Ayodhya”
Jagadguru Vasudevacharya Ji Maharaj said, “Lord Ram descended in the Suryavansh, and the Ram Temple was built during the era of Adityanath, who is like the sun. This is a living symbol of divine grace. Yogi is playing the role of Bhagirath for River Sarayu.”
As the saints concluded their addresses, the entire pavilion roared with devotional chants and applause. Deepotsav 2025 proved that Ayodhya is no longer just the city of lamps, but the spiritual capital of faith, identity and national pride—made possible under the leadership of Yogi Adityanath.
