Preparations for Ayodhya Deepotsav 2025 Gain Momentum Under CM Yogi’s Guidance

Ayodhya — Under the guidance of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, preparations for the grand Deepotsav 2025 are progressing rapidly. The festival, organized by Dr. Rammanohar Lohia Awadh University, aims to illuminate the holy city of Ayodhya, spreading its spiritual and cultural charm across the world.

Ghats Cleaned and Marked Under University Leadership
Led by Vice-Chancellor Colonel Dr. Bijendra Singh, the university team is meticulously preparing the ghats to ensure they are both organized and visually appealing. According to Prof. Sant Sharan Mishra, the nodal officer for Deepotsav, after thorough cleaning, each block along the ghats is being marked with a 4.5-square-foot area for diya placement, while 2.5-foot pathways are being left for smooth movement of devotees.

56 Ghats to Shine with Millions of Diyas
A total of 56 ghats have been identified for the festival, which will be lit with millions of diyas, creating a mesmerizing spectacle. The marking work is being overseen by Dr. Ranjan Singh, Head of Microbiology, and his team, who are expected to complete the task within a week.

30,000 Volunteers to Power the Event
To ensure the smooth execution of Deepotsav, the university administration is finalizing the online registration of 30,000 volunteers. The distribution of diyas will begin shortly, ensuring timely preparations for the festival.

Ayodhya to Shine as a Global City of Light
Deepotsav 2025 is set to not only highlight Ayodhya’s cultural and spiritual significance but also project the city as the “City of Light” to the world. With meticulous planning and large-scale participation, the festival promises to reinforce Ayodhya’s image on the global stage as a center of devotion, tradition, and illumination.
