Mumbai: After two highly successful seasons, the Indian Street Premier League (ISPL), India’s leading Tennis-Ball T10 tournament, is gearing up for its third edition with even more grandeur and excitement. The eight-team tournament will be held in Surat from January 9 to February 6, 2026, with trials starting on October 5, 2025, across 101 cities. The highlight of Season 3 will be the brand-new Porsche 911 awarded to the Most Valuable Player (MVP), underscoring the league’s growing stature on par with global sporting standards.
The announcement was made at a press conference attended by ISPL core committee members Sachin Tendulkar, Ashish Shelar, Minal Amol Kale, Suraj Samat (League Commissioner), and Deepak Chauhan (Head of League Operations), along with superstar Ajay Devgn, owner of the new Ahmedabad franchise.
ISPL’s Remarkable Journey
Since its inception in 2024, ISPL has achieved remarkable success, witnessing a significant increase in stadium attendance and online viewership each season. The league has also launched young talent into national stardom, with players like Abhishek Dalhor, Sagar Ali, Rajat Mundhe, Ketan Mhatre, Jagannath Sarkar, and Fardeen Kazi emerging as household names.
Season 3 sees the league expand with two new franchises, Ahmedabad and Delhi, owned by Ajay Devgn and Salman Khan, respectively, joining the ISPL family.
Nationwide Talent Hunt
The league has also announced trial schedules, providing thousands of aspiring players a platform to showcase their skills. Over 4.3 million players have registered so far. A structured Zonal Institutional and Selection Tournament for Season 4 was also unveiled to strengthen ISPL’s talent pipeline, ensuring budding cricketers across India receive national recognition.
Statements from League Officials
Sachin Tendulkar, ISPL core committee member, said, “ISPL has evolved from a league into a movement, redefining how cricket talent is identified and nurtured in India. Season 3 will expand opportunities for players to showcase their skills nationally, strengthening grassroots cricket across the country.”
Ashish Shelar added, “ISPL is shaping the future of cricket by providing a platform for emerging talent. Our new venues reflect our mission to bring cricket to regions with deep passion for the sport. The Zonal Institutional model is a visionary step to identify and develop talent at the grassroots level.”

Minal Amol Kale commented, “Each season, ISPL breaks barriers, tells new stories, and gives deserving talent a chance to shine. Season 3 is our most ambitious yet, representing the essence of what this league stands for.”
Suraj Samat, League Commissioner, highlighted, “Introducing the Porsche 911 as the MVP award is more than a headline—it’s a message encouraging players to dream big and push their limits, just as Ravi Shastri’s Audi did in 1985.”
Celebrity Owners and Star-Studded Teams
The league now boasts an impressive lineup of celebrity owners: Salman Khan (Delhi franchise), Ajay Devgn (Ahmedabad), Amitabh Bachchan (Mazhi Mumbai), Saif Ali Khan & Kareena Kapoor Khan (Tigers of Kolkata), Akshay Kumar (Srinagar Veer), Suriya (Chennai Singams), Hrithik Roshan (Bangalore Strikers), and Ram Charan (Falcon Riders Hyderabad).
Enhanced Opportunities for Emerging Talent
Each team’s squad has been expanded to 18 players, including two mandatory U-19 players, creating more opportunities for emerging talent nationwide. The team purse has also been increased by 50% to ₹1.5 crore, allowing franchises greater flexibility to build competitive squads.
Season 3 trials kick off on October 5, 2025, across 101 cities, marking the beginning of another thrilling chapter in ISPL’s journey from local streets to national stadiums.
