Lucknow: As part of Mission Shakti 5.0, the Saadatganj Police Station area witnessed a spirited women’s awareness march today, led by ACP Bazarkhala and the Station House Officer (SHO) of Saadatganj.
The march saw enthusiastic participation from students of Kasturba Inter College, along with teachers and women police personnel. Carrying banners promoting women empowerment and Mission Shakti, participants walked shoulder to shoulder with the police team, spreading awareness about women’s rights and safety in the community.
Inspector Santosh Arya, SHO of Saadatganj, explained that the march traversed through various lanes and neighborhoods of the police jurisdiction. “The objective of Mission Shakti is not only to provide a safe environment for women and girls but also to empower them to be self-reliant and confident,” he said.

This initiative by Lucknow Police is part of a larger outreach program, taking the message of women’s empowerment from schools and colleges to streets and marketplaces, ensuring it reaches every section of society. The march was organized under the supervision of DCP West, reinforcing the department’s commitment to creating a safer and more aware community for women.
